Our Mission

We stand with Haiti, until poverty no longer stands in its way.

We don't see poverty as destiny — we see it as a system that can be rebuilt. Together, with the right people, at the right time, and with trust that never wavers, we're committed to creating lasting change, hand in hand with the communities we serve.

Founded in 2019 in Saut d'Eau, Haiti, by Fabiola Ladouceur and a group of friends, and registered in Massachusetts, Hands United Against Poverty began with a simple belief: the country we love should be defined by its potential, not its challenges.

What started as a single shipment of school supplies has grown into programs spanning education, healthcare, food security, and community enterprise. We don't parachute in — we listen, learn, and build together.

Every dollar is accounted for. Every life is sacred. Every step we take is a step toward lasting change.

The values that hold us up.

Solidarity

We walk with — never ahead of — the communities we serve.

Dignity

Every program protects the agency and pride of the people involved.

Local wisdom

The Haitian people set the agenda. We bring resources and respect.

Long horizons

Real change isn't a campaign. It's a commitment measured in decades.
